I teach for LaStone, who are the original educators in Stone Therapy, and experts in Geo-Thermal Therapy.
Having been a therapist for nearly 30 years I decided it was time to teach what I know. Shockingly the average working life of a massage therapist is just 5-8 years…. So I wanted to share how I've managed to still be in business after such a long time.
My secret is using the stones, these courses are not about rubbing a few hot stones over the body, but teaching you to become a Geo-Thermal Therapist.
Courses are suitable for qualified body workers, massage/beauty therapists with a holistic outlook, sports massage therapists who would like to work with a deep tissue/sports approach and qualified therapists in between.

Classes are kept to a maximum of 6/8 people to ensure you get to ask lots of questions, practise lots of techniques and master the moves before returning to your work place.
I absolutely love teaching and it's such a wonderful feeling when I see therapists have that 'light bulb' moment when the theory and practical all comes together. What's so wonderful is these courses have an emphasis on the theory, practical and safe application of the treatment. Therefore, it is essential that as a therapist, you not only learn how to deliver the treatment, but also experience how the temperatures affect the muscles, how it feels on the skin and interacts with the nervous system. By practicing the moves on each other, and giving honest feedback, this gives you an opportunity to perfect your new skills and offer first class treatments.
